I'm finding real value in this channel, totally honest opinions from an experienced tester who talks like he's talking to a friend, good stuff.

You should call your episode(s) "Time to find out". Because in a majority of your epidode in your introduction, you finish with a "Time to find out" #Timetofindout.
PS: love watching your content.

Drove the mc20 yesterday - after stepping out of my 24’ GT3 - and the mc20 was a much much quieter car inside. No tire noise at all and felt like a corvette on the most comfortable setting. And it was blazing fast!!! It was easy to close the doors —

I own one. Absolutely love it! Best car I have owned. Better than Ferraris I owned and 991.2 GT3. Love the accessibility and comfort, I would take this and drive straight to the south of France. The 8th gear is an overdrive. The GT mode in combo with the ‘soft suspension’ button gives a really soft comfortable ride. It breaths like a Lotus, and much softer than a 458 Italia of GT3. Then you can turn it to sport and it will bring the car to life. It’s so fast! This is a car I long to driving it! And best feature…the turbos that you hear when accelerating, absolutely great experience!

I think they nailed the looks! To my eyes it has a silhouette reminiscent of a Noble M600. Beautiful!

Gotta say, this guy might be in the top 3 of automotive journalists. He's not afraid to say his honest opinion.
Hopefully he doesn't lose his integrity, which has happened to many a reviewer in the past.

This car is brilliant....and it looks like a supercar a grown man would buy....not coverd in wings scoops n will still look classy in 10 years..

Your observation on the ride quality (or lack of it) is the thing that strikes me most about this review. When Harry Metcalf tested the MC20 he said that in GT mode it rode beautifully and you can see this on his review as the camera remains stable throughout, even on his famous stretches of poor road. This leads me to suspect there must be something wrong with the specific car you tested as Harry makes no reference whatsoever to poor ride quality in any part of his review. Thoughts?

I was at a cars and coffee in Barrington Illinois last weekend and there was one of these there, in that blue launch color and it's a color you MUST see outside in the sun❗️

It was parked along side TWO Lamborghini Hurican STO's and I just kept coming back to the MC20👌

2 yrs with a 1st gen 2009 Granturismo 4.7S and zero issues. I came to it from an E60 M5 so my running costs came down at the same time!

With that suspension one wouldn’t want to take any of our more buxom friends out for a drive now, would we?

What I find most interesting about the Nettuno engine is that Maserati essentially dusted off the old 90 degree v6 design used in the Maserati Merak and kept an awful lot of the bottom end. The similarities are all there. Firing order, crank design, main bearing cradle etc

I know this is about the MC20, but that Gran Turismo is the most beautiful new car or most beautiful car in general that I've seen in a long time. Holy crap that thing is gorgeous 🥴

All I can conclude is that it's a brilliant car for certain use. It needs smooth twisty roads for a few hours of automotive fun, like the south of France or Spain. I imagine that's where it would come alive and what it's built for. Given the poor state of many of its roads, British buyers would probably be enjoying the Granturismo more.

I really genuinely believe that your example might have some problem because the suspension of the MC20 is one of the most compliant I've known to the point that it sometimes doesn't match the engine and chassis. It's sometimes felt too soft (in the softest setting) that it cannot put the power down properly in sport mode

it's a fabulous car. simple yet clean design + a super powerful v6. if you have money, why shouldn't you buy it. I think it will sell a lot.
I appreciated the Pink Floyd Pulse concert cover while swiping on the display :)

When Maserati showed the mule of MC20 I thought it was a mess. Then they showed the real car, and it was drop-dead gorgeous. And then I saw one in the flesh when I did a walkaround 'review' of it. My God I love the thing even in the rather sombre shade of Nero Enigma. And I actually quite like the interior. To me it feels like a much better built than any previous Maserati (though my experience was only the GranTurismo S).

About the weight, yes Maserati claimed it's light because 'all of the carbon'. but the carbon on the door was forged carbon. Which is not that light. And the door itself is pretty heavy. So I'm not surprised when EVO quoted a 1700kg weight figure for the MC20.

I'd go for Rosso Vincente, Giallo Genio or Blu Infinito if I were to buy one. Was thinking about FuoriSerie colour like Hyper Green or Blu Corse but the price was horrifying. Not that I can ever buy one, though. Can't even afford BBR's 1/64 model of this.

Evo car of the year, voted for by a dozen or more respected motoring journo's including the highly respected Steve Suitcliffe who stated that it's one of the only cars he would buy if he had the money. I have both an 812 & a 911 turbo s. Love them both. I put my MC20 in the same bracket. I think you just thrive on being controversial. Hey ho.

Actually looking forward to a Suzuki Swift Sport or Clio 200 review to be honest. Something along those lines.
