Taiwan Earthquake | 100 Buildings Damaged | Dozens Trapped And 700 People Injured Taiwan | N18V

A massive 7.7 earthquake struck Taiwan's east coast leading to the deaths of at least 7 people. But the death toll is expected to rise as more than 100 buildings have been damaged or have partially collapsed. More than 70 people are believed to be still trapped under the rubble and at least 700 others are injured. This is the most powerful earthquake to have struck Taiwan in 25 years with tremors felt in Shanghai and several provinces along China’s southeastern coast, and in southern Japan. Taiwan lies along the Pacific 'Ring of Fire', the line of seismic faults encircling the Pacific Ocean where most of the world's earthquakes occur. Multiple aftershocks as strong as magnitude 7 are expected in the coming days. Taiwan, Japan and the Philippines have all canceled tsunami warnings issued after the quake hit.

WOW WOW WOW. The buildings lost the foundation but did NOT COLLAPSE.
The engineers who designed these buildings followed design rules and guides but you never really get to think well this will save lives, untill an earthquake hits and the structure tilts but does not collapse and crush all inside, They are true heros.
Sadly I saw some structures not designed to withstand earthquake that did collapse.
