Taiwanese authorities say 70 miners are trapped in 2 coal mines after a powerful earthquake rocked the island. The powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake which struck Taiwan's east coast, triggered landslides and collapsed structures. The quake was followed by strong aftershocks, including a 6.5-magnitude tremor. Multiple aftershocks as strong as magnitude 7 are expected in the coming days.
