This video shows the second series of parts I had to machine that went along with the titanium threaded rods from the previous video. I show swapping the Victor lathe change gears back over to its normal daily uses settings, and two small aluminum parts that needed modified.

Hi Adam.
Nice lunch spot, when I worked in a factory I found a quiet area for lunch which I used for several years, it had a low brick wall and after I finished eating I could lay back on the wall and zone out. First I’d hear the hubbub from the factory, then the birdsong would overpower that, then if I was doing well I would be able to hear a tractor ploughing or mowing or baling which would be a mile away. Then the two old ladies from the sewing room discovered my quiet area, damned if they didn’t drag their beach chairs out there and sit and discuss bloody soap operas all 45 minutes of the break! The moral, best not show people where you go if you want peace and quiet!
Thanks for another great video.
Cheers, Graham.

No matter how often I watch one of Adam's videos there is always a little gem of information. As a non machinist it wasn't obvious to me to turn spindles so the key way is up, such a simple thing but will save endless scrabbling around for little bits of key.

I never got to run a six jaw in all my years. Now I'm retired and after watching you use yours it's starting to piss me of that I didn't. Stay safe, don't talk to anybody and don't touch nothin.

Sittin’ on the dock of the bay
Watchin’ Abom milling away
The Victor could spin all day
Makin’ those chips fly away

Many thanks Adam, you're a good guy!

I haven't heard "deadnuts" in a long time. I first started using it when I was a Toolmaker Apprentice in 1968. What were you doing 52 years ago...probably teething on an "O" ring (LOL). Keep up the good work. You're making my retirement more enjoyable.

Just came back from the supermarket with the wife, then unloaded the car and made myself some lunch. Then got onto your channel and that made my day. You are a good fellow Adam and we all love you, take care.

Enjoy seeing how you set up your jobs. Changing the gears and understanding why was a cool thing to see. Seeing how you measure tight tolerance is a wonder to me. Thanks for sharing.

Adam, have watched all your videos for a while and just wanted to share this. Graduated high school and fell into the trap of you have to go to college to be successful. Dropped out, had no passion for learning anything taught in the classes. Had no idea what I was going to do with my life, and fortunately landed a job in manufacturing. Because I knew some basic math I was given a job in the tool room, basic machining and metal working. Even then I thought of it as a gap filler and did not think of it as a career. Being on midnights I had a lot of time on my hands and started watching YouTube videos. Long story short, your videos have changed my life. I have found more passion watching your videos and putting them to practical use than I ever did in any class room. Your videos have changed my life brother, and I know this is what I want to do for a career. You should definitely consider branching out beyond YouTube. Your passion and talent are undeniable and could definitely change other people’s lives. Not enough focus is put into high schools, kids think they have no other options than to take out debt and go to college. Definitely an angle you could pursue, you have a natural ability of teaching and explaining things. I’ve been watching you for a couple years now and I don’t know why I feel the need to say this now, but thank you. Your videos make more of a difference than you know.

Definitely a great spot to sit and chill, and let the mind decompress. Good to hear you know how to relax in between working as hard as you do!

We have gulls just like that in Oregon. My daughter once dropped a Dorito on the beach. From way up the beach, out of sight, a seagull flew in and scooped it up. Within a few minutes there were a hundred of them flying around waiting for a chance. Just like yours. That was over 40 years ago. Funny what you remember.

You got a channel that gives me quite a lot of peace in my mind. Especially with the whirling chaos that is going on right now. You're a master of your craft, and beyond that -- You're installing hope and charity into peoples lives. Your Grand Daddy would be proud of all that you have become! God bless you man. Keep it coming brother!!!

Adam, when you adjusted the gears and gel lubed them also, you made my day. You are a machinist for sure. As it it said, the little things make big things happen. When you put a part into a six jaw chuck you gently and slowly spin the part as you tightening the chuck key. 6 jaw chucks are the bomb and I did not say sh-t. Keep up the great work fella.

No longer a secret! That spot on the bay can easily be found on Google Maps/StreetView by looking for the marina to your right. Do expect all your fans to show up there to ask for your autograph...
Love your videos. I'm just a hobbyist but the main thing you teach me is to be patient, do things step by step, measure, measure, measure and keep everything nicely under control.

I'll never have a shop like you have. In fact, I only weld some things now and then. That's all. But I like your video's so much and they inspire me to think about solutions for everyday problems (we have a very, very small (hobby) farm). Thank you for that and keep on the good work!
