I'm curious to see the Idealist for those of us interested in turbodiesel cars.

If you keep the maintenance up on thr 750Li, it's quite the machine! The 4.4 V8 isn't no slouch either, but the biggest problem is the Valve stem seals! They go bad fairly quickly and that particularly job can be very tedious to do. BMW will charge you at minimum $3k for parts and labor.. but overall, it is a lot better than most "luxury" cars on the market and has balls too!

Love the A8. But only because of the price point of the CTS-V being what it is. Honestly, seriously looking at /considering both vehicles . With a $12 K budget, I'm hoping for the best, but I know I need to manage my expectations.

Any LS400 under 5k is a POS. Most likely the 1UZ will be good but everything else will need work.
