Everyone is so worried about the Bikini atol "toumb" which is just a nuclear crater used as a landfill, with unexpoded plutonium from a failed nuclear bomb and some other junk. But until the 1980s the core that they burried in concrete, was just scattered around the lagoon for decades. At least they attempted to burry that, unlike all the contaminated ships and submarines they sunk in that lagoon, those are now diving attractions.
