That was built for purpose of memorial to forefathers. it is true that the place was actually burial ground constructed 4000 years ago. . If you need to know true meaning of Stonehenge, we need to analyze the correct etynology of Stonehenge in Tamil languag which is oldest language in the word. Stone is derived form of Tamil word 'Thoon'' which means 'Rock Pillar' in English. (Thoon - Stoone- Stone). Henge is a word which is derived form of the Tamil word 'Angu' which means bent shape or angled shape in English.(Angu-hengu-henge). Therefore Stonehenge means (stone pillar in angular shape) It is called in Tamil as 'Nadu vattakkal'. This is a long custom Tamil tradition to keep Stonehenge(Nadu Vattakkal) on the memories of forefathers those who died in the deluge of Kumari continent(A.K.A. Atlandis)15000 years ago. Most interestingly, people in sothern part of Tamil Nadu, India are still following the custom tradition for dead persons.Then you may have a question why angular pillars were erected in peculiar shape on the burial ground.
