For the greek thing

The code word palingenesia means rebirth or reincarnation.

As we saw Lana was a deer before transforming back to her normal self. There was only one woman I could find to fit this description in greek myths: Iphigenia- Agamemnon's daughter.

So Lana could just be Iphigenia reincarnated. This was also a theory in the halloween quest for reasons I will not delve into.

Agamemnon had tried to sacrifice Iphigenia just like how he tried to sacrifice Lana in the halloween quest.

Also get this, her brother's name is Orestes so O.

They were separated for a while before meeting up again in a complicated set of events possibly hinting why Lana said something about "reuniting only to be separated again" (or something similar).

Sorry it is so long. There was just so much to say.

Hey Haley! So I did some research on the cutscene and the story behind i made a video on it but I’ll summarize it for you: basically the girl is Agamemnons daughter (Iphigenia) and the male is his son. The reason she was turned into a deer is because Agamemnon killed one of Artemis (The goddess of hunting) deer. So she decided that she would make it impossible for them to win the war. She controlled the wind. And so the only way to stop her was if he sacrificed her daughter. And so he did. He end up dying on a different island because his wife Clytemnestra killed him. His daughter was turned into a deer by Artemis. 6:55 And the reason the daughter (Iphigenia) was on the ship was because she had to go to a Taurus island to get a statue of apollo to get rid of her brothers furries. Which are like annoying creatures. Also “O” means her brothers name “Orestes”. And one more thing is that the owl that is following his daughter (Iphigenia) is Athena, her symbol in Greek mythology is an owl. Please read this and credit my channel!

So, if you manage to unlock the fountain in chapter 2 with the code, you can return to the event quest lobby and enter an entirely different secret realm. It's a Greek temple and it has some lore that's VERY interesting. My main focus here is trying to figure out which Greek goddess may appear in future Lana lore quests, since we've seen one referenced many times, and her existence is heavily implied. Up until this update, I'd been pretty certain that we would be seeing Athena. I mean, it made sense to me:

- We obtained Athena's shield (The aegis) in the event quest.

- The main villain (Agamemnon) was said to be at odds with a goddess.

- Since a good chunk of the lore likely had roots in the Trojan war, it made sense that Athena would be the primary goddess in this lore, seeing as Athena aided the Greeks (Odysseus, AGAMEMNON and Menelaus) in the war, helping them defeat the Trojans.

- We also saw several instances of owls in the latest winter quest. (Outside Santa's workshop, and twice in the Lana cutscene in the secret temple realm)



However, it seems as though I was maybe wrong. Seeing Lana portrayed as a wounded deer (and all the other deer in the realm) immediately made me think of Artemis. Additionally, the statue that is beside the temple looks more like Artemis than Athena. For one, Athena would likely have some form of spear, shield or helmet, but this statue is holding a bow-- a symbol commonly associated with Artemis. his got me thinking about whether or not Artemis was actually involved in the Trojan war. I looked it up, and low and behold, I struck gold. Artemis sided with the Trojans in this war, which would explain why she may be against Agamemnon (A Greek). The summary also mentioned that she was angry at Agamemnon for killing her sacred DEER. (Think back to all the deer imagery) Furthermore, Artemis even demanded that Agamemnon sacrifice his DAUGHTER (Iphigenia) as an apology. Artemis replaced his daughter with a deer, however, once she made it to the altar. (Think back to the deer turning into Lana). It all makes (somewhat) sense now. By referencing the lyrics in "Temptation, " (the song from the Halloween boss fight) we can get a pretty good idea of a big chunk of the lore.



Agamemnon may have done something to anger Artemis (Perhaps akin to killing her sacred deer) in his conquest for power. (Lyrics: "he wanted more than what he got" and "obsessed with immortality he wanted to live eternally, wanted to make himself a god") As a result, she demanded that he sacrifice souls to atone for his transgressions. (Lyrics: "If only he sacrificed a few souls" and think of Agamemnon sacrificing his daughter as punishment in the original Greek myths) It would explain a whole lot, and even raises the question; Is Lana Iphigenia in this story? If so, would that make her related to Agamemnon?



There are still many questions that I desperately want to find answers to, but I think that's for another day. If you've read this entire thing, you're absolutely stellar, so thank you!! <3

palingenesia means rebirth, and in the secret cut scene, the girl's drawing looks a lot like lana's, but the actul face on the character is much different. Also, the lady says "goodbye, O" Odysseus was a greek hero and was a counselor and advisor to AGAMEMNON in the Trojan War, Odysseus was the main emissary sent to convince Achilles to rejoin the war. NOT ONLY THAT, but in greek mythology, Actaeon was turned into a deer by artemis. artemis can also turn into any animal, so the girl could be either one of them. im going to put a reply on this after i read lana's journal, seeing if it changes my theory at all. also love the vids your vids are so well done!!!

O could be Oretus because at the end of the Halloween quest Agamemnon says "Not even all mighty of Olympus can stop what's to come." And you can see ' O' is dressed in the greek like dress. and I just figured Olympus is a place so, tysm! And the scene is taken place in Olympus and at the end Athena maybe, says something about reuniting after they have been separated

LORE THERORY:
I think Lana is Related to Athena due to the statues, A might be using lana because she is related to Athena making her a demigod in a way, so this might be why A is making clones of her!

Another secret:

When you are ice skating in the lobby (not the quest) you can see Lana under the ice wearing a Santa hat.

I also have an extra Easter egg to go with it… im not sure if this is a theory or anything, so lmk, but Agamemnon says “find me under the ice” in one of the cutscenes in the first part of the Christmas quest! I think that has smth to do with it :)

One secret that I found minutes after the freeplay started to work:

I haven't seen it in yt vids but yeah, if you jump and stand ON top of the snowman that is in front of the recording studio, you can use that as a boost to jump to the second floor of the recording studio, and something is there but you just have to explore it for yourself 🥰😚

So it could be that the ‘o’ person is odysseus, and it could also be that lana is blessed by athena and artemis ( the deer is goddess of the hunt artemis’s sacred animal, and the owl is the goddess of wisdom and war athena’s sacred animal) and it also could possibly be that the past lana is Odysseus’s wife (penelope) and that agamemnon is in love with her (as to all the doppelgängers are lana and not anyone else, and also the fact that he destroyed everyone that loves lana e.g. lana’s parents, nurse julie) and the reason that the past lana said to never meet the ‘o’ person could be to protect ‘o’

O could be Orestes
Orestes and Artemis are connected in Greek mythology (i say Artemis because shes a goddes connected to agemenmon and because there was a woman who took the shape of a deer in the hidden cutscene of the winter update)
Here's how:
•Iphigenia's Fate: Orestes' sister, Iphigenia, was sacrificed to Artemis to appease the goddess and allow the Greek fleet to sail to Troy. This tragic event significantly impacted Orestes' life and fueled his desire for revenge against his mother, Clytemnestra, who killed their father, Agamemnon.
•Artemis's Intervention: In some versions of the myth, Artemis intervened and saved Iphigenia from sacrifice, replacing her with a deer. She then made Iphigenia a priestess in her temple at Tauris.
* Orestes' Journey to Tauris: Later, Orestes, driven by the Furies (goddesses of vengeance), was ordered by Apollo to travel to Tauris to retrieve a statue of Artemis. This journey led him to reunite with his sister Iphigenia, who was the priestess of the temple.
•Escape and Return: Together, Orestes and Iphigenia escaped Tauris with the statue of Artemis and returned to Greece. This event is significant in Athenian mythology, as it is believed to have brought the statue of Artemis to Athens, where it became a revered object of worship.
Therefore, while Orestes and Artemis are not directly related, their stories are intertwined through the tragic fate of Iphigenia and the divine intervention of Artemis. Their connection highlights the complex web of relationships and divine influence in Greek mythology.

I have a theory of the lana lore : so basically I think because of the code to the room we saw people and I think it's agamenon and lanas mom because If you look really closely you can see lanas hair and because it has the same face as her. I don't think it's lana because the man low-key looked like agamenon before everything happened. If you search agamenon is part of Greek mythology and because lana is not in Greek mythology maybe her mom is . I think agamenon and lana are connected because maybe agamenon and lanas mom met before because then why agamenon then hurt everyone lanas with. One time lana sacrificed people for agamenon and at first you will be like "why would she do that" maybe because they are connected.

Hi srry for late respond but here's my theory
Theory: so the hot know as the guy at the cutseen is the warrior from linas song in halloween quest ant the warrior is agemenoms brother and Lana's there sister so the warrior known as o and lana was the parents fav children so when agaemenom grew up he wanted revenge so first he wanted to be immortal so he'll all the time in the world to do revenge and deer girl is Athena the daughter of agemenom so the warrior was protecting deer girl from agemenom bc at this moment he was ruining chrismas oh yh and agaemenom turned his parents in to a two headed monster and in the journal it says she doesn't know who he is bc agemenom put a spell on lana to forget him and and the warrior

Btw this is just my theory and I think i made mine a bit more understanding srry to you all
