Honestly, I love watching your videos not only for the educational part but also your demeanor, voice and your personality. Most people on YT are VERY annoying ... with crazy music, loud voice, and just not nice. You are someone I'd like to learn from in person. Others not so much. So thank you for these videos. :)

Basis Point as it pertains to setting a trailing stop. I understand using percent, but not point if I want to set that a stop of $5 under the current price movement.

Cost Basis Method as it pertains to First in First out, etc

I'm new to investing and am dollar-cost averaging on a monthly basis into various growth, dividend and broad-based ETFs, but also some tech sector ETFs, too, such as SMH, AIQ, etc. I'm wondering if, at least while I'm building up my portfolio, I should invest more into the higher growth areas (I'm particularly high on SMH) before they go too high? Basically, my reasoning is SMH and QQQM, for example, are likely to outperform the S&P 500 and the various Dividend ETFS like SCHD, so I'm thinking to buy as much of the growth now and then can jump into the slower growing assets in a couple years. Thoughts?

Prof G, thanks for another great video. Any chance you can do a video on what financial numbers investors should be looking for in specific types (REITs, BDCs, Growth, Dividend, etc) of companies?

Thanks for making educational video of terms. Can you make another video with terms (Market Cap, NAV, Free Float Market cap, EPS, P/E TTM and P/E Fwd) please. These terms are confusing for me. I am sure you will be able to explain these terms in more simpler way. Thanks

This was great! It would be helpful to many of us too if you could do a similar list of more advanced terms and investing techniques like shorting a stock, difference between an ETF and covered call etf, etc...

Great intro to investing vid! Here's a suggestion for a teaching video, which I've had a hard time finding info on. A video on how to analyze stocks. I use various methods to find what to invest in, but I know there are other methods, some I'm sure better. How to determine future stock price, earnings, etc. How to determine when growth might start or stop, etc. I've done ok picking, but as a recent retiree, most of what I buy are solid dividend plays, and then ETF's for growth. I would love to find the potential NVDA! Thanks.

Great info. The chapters separators don't seem to be in the right place for the index fund/ETF, bull/bear market, dip sections, though.
