This is a great list! Lots of my favorites have been included. I especially love That Time You Killed Me. I adore this game. I find it super clever and the time travel elements work great.

Thinking of Settlers of Catan, I played a game called Attika recently that almost seemed like the next iteration of Catan. I think Attika is now a 20+ year old game but it still is a really fun game.

And in leu of Carcassonne I thought of Isle of Skye.
If you like 7 Wonders or Lost Cities I would pick Archeos Society
If you like Zombicide and King of Tokyo I would pick Hit Z Road
If you thought Munchkin was ok but wanted it to actually end, play Here To Slay.

I’ve found space base hard to teach- and slow because of people trying to figure out the card market, I want to like it but it hasn’t landed when I’ve tried it. The Loop is great, I really enjoy it solo, I got rid of basic pandemic awhile ago. Only have pandemic Iberia and it’s been awhile since I’ve played it.

I agree with all of these, except for Dominion. To me it's still the king of pure deckbuilding. Due to its completely open market, luck of the public market that other games have is avoided. All these years and still not dethroned.

The only one I'll quibble with is that personally I love King of Tokyo but hate Dice Throne. Somehow what is quick, streamlined, and charming in King of Tokyo feels drawn out, choppy, and mean in DT (along with way too much tiny text all over the table). For me a lucky dice game should be simple, DT takes it too far. Maybe I'm the only one?
