Number one scene in entire series. Nicolas Lea is fantastic and love how Mulder seems to finally cave in to the truth about what’s coming. Sensational.

Even though Mulder and Krychek were blood enemies, Mulder also knew that Krychek was on the front lines of the conspiracy and had inside info that would've taken Mulder possibly years to find out. Mulder knew that Krychek was deadly serious about what he was telling him.

This is my favorite mythology 2 parter. For it's time, this was amazing production for a TV series. Those abduction scenes are killer. But I just loved the story here. Was cool to see the Syndicate on the defensive. Really wished they could have used the rebels more than just the one more time in 'Two Fathers/One Son'. Love those eps, don't get me wrong. But I think there was more there. Anyway...mythology from 'Anasazi' through 'One Son' is awesome storytelling.

Watched xfiles as a kid a d I remember how i always got excited when Nicolas appeared. Theres is something very intense and complex over him. I literally searched for krycek xfiles to get an injeection :D

Only 12 comments? This used to be great ET. Entertainment that is. Now there’s a very good chance this is the autobiography of the human race. There’s something here. A technology that makes the F 18 super hornet look like a stone handaxe. Worse than that even. I’m an intelligent person. Are used to be a skeptic. I said the distances were too great. But there’s something here that defies the laws of physics as we know them. They don’t want to destroy us. They definitely don’t want to destroy the earth. They’ve proven that it’s in their interest for us not to use Nukes. They don’t want that and they’ve told us so. If you’re a fan of the show then you’ll know the phrase beggars to our own demise. Evolution is a very cruel prospect indeed. If you’re not at the top of the heap you’re in oblivion. And this isn’t some stupid movie where we have a chance at a resistance. The technology they’ve displayed is but the tip of the iceberg. It’s not even the point of a spear. It’s the pre-pre-Vanguard. They can shut down our weapon systems at the flip of a switch. They know where we’re going they know what we’re doing they know our plans as soon as we know them. It’s not even a fight. This isn’t Mike Tyson vs a baby. It’s a nuke vs an anthill. Right now they’re just trying to make sure we don’t make a mess for them to clean up.
