What I enjoy about your series is that we all learn about the actors, actresses, people who worked behind the scenes, sports stars, musicians and their contribution and impact they made. I have leant a lot and enjoyed watching the series.

James Caan was a incredible character actor, one of my favorites. I remembered most of them during this video. May they all continue to Rest In Piece.

I’m sure it’s been said hundreds of times by now, but I just don’t have the words to express my deep respect and admiration for the work that you do. You show deep respect and maintain the dignity of the people you honor in this way. I look for you every time you post a new post. 1 million thanks and God bless you.

Thanks for featuring James Caan, my heartthrob growing up. I was devastated when he died. Definitely one of the all time greats.

Little trivia for you... James Caan was in "El Dorado" with John Wayne and Robert Mitchum... and his character quotes Edgar Allen Poe's poem of the same name in the film...

Marty Allen was the first celebrity I met when I was a kid. He was either the MC or the talent for the Anaheim Police Department's Annual Ball. After the ball we were back in the Green Room area waiting for a friend of my sister that worked at the convention center. Mr. Allen cones out of his dressing room, thinking we were there for him. He chatted us up and signed a publicity postcard for each of us. "Hello Dere, Marty Allen." I still have it packed away in storage.

Excellent work, Arthur. Glad to see Marty Allen's marker. I remember him well back in the 60s. He is a WWII war hero. Look up his service record.

I loved James Caan, since he was in Brian's Song, RIP also, I remember watching Marty Allen on TV, he was so funny! The comedians in that era were the best! RIP James and Marty and all of those you shared with us! Thank you, Arthur!

Thanks for the nod to Dan Curtis. Dark Shadows is my all-time favorite television show. Nice tribute to James Caan as well. Great job as usual!

I ran across Marty Allen in Vegas back in the early 90’s. Didn’t speak to him, but one of my brushes with celebrity.

Dark Shadows scared the hell out of me!! I watched as a kid sitting on my nanny's lap. I still love it, now 65, Barnabas is my favorite!! Thanks Arthur, your videos are a time machine, taking us back to visit our youth and beyond. Cheers from Northern California. ❤❤❤

Thanks! It is just crazy how James Kahn’s son Scott is his spitting image! I am always saying when I watch Scott how he is just like dad in every way! I used to watch James a lot when I was younger. Very interesting vid as usual. 😊
