A big 3 supplier/fabricator told me he shows his designs and products to the big 3 and they occasionally will decline a pitch and then just turn and steal it on to use it in house. He can’t say anything out of fear of losing all of their business. That’s the corporate world here

I remember a similar incident decades ago when Ford refused to pay the inventor of variable windshield wipers. The legal fight was finally won by the family of the inventor but it was not settled until after he died.

Lost respect for Ford decades ago, when I bought a shitty 1992 Escort, , 1998 Ranger, and a 2004 Explorer. By the time all of them got north of 60, 000 miles they were falling apart. Never made it to 100, 000 miles before having to get rid of them.
