Hi Alyssa. I'll be applying as an international student (European) in two years and am worried about the SAT/ACT. They're made for Americans and will therefore compare their system to my education which prioritises and teaches other things than the US one. English is a second language out of four mandatory here and our math education doesn't really focus on the same thing as in the States. Do you think I can excuse a much lower standardised test score when competing against those who, according to their research, should be strictly more competitive to admissions boards? Or should I drop my national GPA to study for the American tests? It's still difficult to raise my English score to the level of someone who grew up speaking the language.
