THIS Arcanine EX Deck is actually GOOD?! - Pokemon Pocket

This Arcannine Deck in Pokemon Pocket is insanely strong. Throw in cards like Flarreon and your Moltres EX. Definitely one of my favorite archetype decks out of aggro, control, ramp, stall, and combo decks in Pokemon Pocket. Can't wait for the new set 2 to add to this strategy!

Been running this deck with 1:1 aerodactly over 2:2 flareon that came second in a recent tournament - increases your chances of opening with moltres and means you can run a couple potions to offset arcanine recoil. Has felt pretty strong. Plus there's nothing better than sending a fully ramped Mewtwo back into their deck

Given the dmg recoil and EX being 2 prize points, would it make more sense to run centiskorch even with the 4 energy requirement?

I’ve been really enjoying LaprasEX with butterfree it’s very consistent and way quicker to get online than a VenusaurEX deck

I'm running a similar deck with 2 Moltres ex 2 Arcanine ex and 2 senticrosh and it's really strong

I've been running Arcanine EX and Moltres EX in the event. I'm pretty bad, and don't have all the cards I'd want, but it's such a potent combo. If you get Moltres in your opening hand, you're in the money.

ive been slapped by arc decks a couple times but granted they had perfect openers and i had bad ones, if it starts more evenly pika wins

Oh hey. I actually just ran into someone playing Arcanine ex earlier this morning at the very bottom of the PvP event ladder. Seemed like their entire deck was high retreat cost mons with the exception of the lil fire/bug basic from Galar. Only pokemon they played were Lickitung, Sizzlipede, Centiscorch, Growlith, and Arcanine ex. I put them in checkmate when they evolved their only 1 energy retreat cost mon and used Sabrina on Arcanine with a full Hp Golduck on field.

yeah no that flameon eevee is just ruining your decks consisntecy for no reason. These cards do not belong into a deck like this. You've now got 6/20 basic pokemons on a stage 1 deck lol. Most Charizard decks run 4 and thats stage 2 lol, what is bro doing?

that makes not only your starting hand bad but also your pokeball and prof research. loose eevee and flameon and now your looking at a 50% chance to start with Moltres EX and a at least 66% chance to pokeball it if you didn't. These cards aren't even good by themselfs but adding them in like this just drags the whole deck down.

Compare this to a 33% (istead of 50%) chance to start with moltres EX in your deck and a 40% (instead of 66%) chance to pokeball it if you didn't start with it.


Not to mention that Eevee doesn't even work with Moltres EX making it even worse lol. It's just so bad

Literally just adding 2x Potion another Sabrina or Fossils to counter an opponents sabrina are way more logical choices here, just running only one sabrina here in a 120 dmg deck is insane by itself. That 2x giovanni is doing nothing for you bro lmao. what is this??
