Umar Khalid, former JNU Student has been arrested under the UAPA, on charges of being involved in the Delhi Riots. The arrests have triggered a huge political storm. Many have leapt to the defense of Khalid while others have called him anti national. The Developments come after Yogendra Yadav, Jayati Ghosh and Sitaram Yechury were named in the supplementary charge sheet till the police clarified that they were not going to be tried.

It shows no matter how cosmopolitan and top notch one's education might be and how much 'global exposure' one might have, the single most important variable that matters is the values one has been able to inculcate in oneself.
