I bought my dualsense edge off ebay and said it was in 100% working condition. everything works fine except the right trigger. It gets stuck down and whenI use it as default it sometimes stops as if i have it all the way at the bottom or middle. what do u think the problem would be?

SERIOUS QUESTION. I took apart my Edge controller just to get a good understanding of the components inside & put it back together. Now, the L2 is registering as pushed in & L1 isnt activating either as a result. I was very careful & nothing appears damaged. I did however notice that the ribbon cable for the trigger assemblies had a small line (almost like a purposeful indent/scratch) on one connector. This is on the end that connects the module to the main motherboard. I noticed that this was consistent on both trigger assemblies, so I have thus far assumed it is part of the design. Ive cleaned all the assemblies with 70% isopropyl & ensure all connections were secure yet the L2 still registers as stuck. ANY ADVICE OR INSIGHT PLEASE🙏🏽

I need a replacement ribbon cable for the r2 trigger and can't find any info online as to what type it is or where I can buy one! anyone know? all I can find are ribbon cables for the regular edge and the ribbon cable for the touch pad. mine must have gotten crimped and ripped when I was putting it back together :(

A few weeks ago my adaptive trigger effect on r2 stopped working i try this hope it works😢(btw!!! i thinks its because of that r2 lock button on the back that cause this issue)

EDIT: r2 trigger effect not working but r2 itself does idk why

You left out the trigger bracket there is a conductive silicone insert inside it and it can also cause the r2 button to stop working!!! Please can someone help me find a replacement

What if the trigger wont spring back up? It just stays pushed down

They still use plastic for the triggers gears and the endless screw, at this price...
