Cold things for knees, ankles, etc: have a look on Amazon for gel packs and straps. I sometimes suffer from Achilles tendonitis, and using the gel pack out of the freezer works wonders. Pop it back in between applications, and you're not using up your dinner! Also, you can heat it up in the microwave; sometimes heat treatment is as useful as ice. A gel pack can do both.

Hi James, that's the Texan T1, which replaced the Tucano. After completing training on that if pilots are going on to fly jets they will move to RAF Valley to train on the Hawks. Looking forward to getting back to Cwm Idwal next week.

This is useful. I never thought of that. I was recently excited that geocaching gave me new opportunities for photos by taking me to spots I never would have gone on my own. And was just wondering how I could make use of Photopills and other services to scout the areas ahead of time. Hadn't thought about physically scouting and going back later.
