Today we're looking at how to find every ore in Minecraft 1.19! This is the ultimate mining guide for Minecraft 1.20+! Minecraft Ores are the most useful thing in the entire game! Some ores, like redstone, generate deep while some, like coal, generate higher up! In this video I show you the best spot to find each and every ore in Minecraft, from coal to diamond! These are the best way to find ores in Minecraft now! This guide is for both Minecraft Java and Minecraft Bedrock Edition!

Remember that coal generation stops right at Y 0. There is no coal in the deepslate layer. You will need to prepare before going deep, otherwise you will risk running out of torches.

My mining tip is to silk touch the ores first, then when you get back to your base, fortune them there. That way you can get more.

Diamond Finding Tip: Diamond is more likely to spawn completely covered (no air blocks)
Water is not an air block, and therefore counts as covering
So if you're looking for diamonds, check aquafers, as they're much more likely to spawn while much easier to find

Coal - Y=95, look for mountains
Iron - Mountains, the higher you go, the better
Copper - Dripstone Caves
Gold - Nether | In overworld, Badlands mineshaft
Emerald - Just make a farm, if not then in tall mountains
Lapis - Y=0, Use fortune if you can
Redstone - Y=-50, The lower you go the better, or go caving
Diamond - Y=-58, The lower you go the better, or go caving (Y=-54)

When mining diamonds always mine the stone around the block. If the diamond is on the floor, mine horizontally around it. If it is on a wall, remove the stone vertically. There is often hidden diamond since the C&C update because diamond can generate on diagonals more often than it did before C&C. Also sometimes ores tend to generate on chunk boundaries so if you are having trouble try looking along a boundary.

While it's probably not nearly as efficient as it was in previous versions of the game, I've found that branch mining down low (around y -50 or deeper) can be a decent way to find diamonds too.

Iron-ic that iron is now more common in mountains when in ilder versions it could only be found under sea level

Copper veins also exist, they just generate above deepslate, as iron ones generate below deepslate.

I'm on the opposite side, I say DO NOT have fortune on your mining pick. Silk touch everything, it creates less clutter in your inventory that way, so you can hold more before needing to go drop everything off. Then once you get to a safe location, you can place it all down and fortune it there at your base

My current world is so diamond poor that I started just upskilling tool smiths, armorers, and weapon smiths to get diamond gear. I choose the cheapest, scrape off enchantments, buy the must-have enchantments from specifically chosen librarians, and build them from there. A bit if a pain, but I have some lucrative farms for trade goods to get emeralds, and branch mining is awful when there are so few diamonds. I need to check out aquafirs I guess. Aqua affinity needed.

For diamonds: Look in aquifers since diamonds need a lot of pressure to form!!
