Let's Power This Dreamcast With USB-C!

Last time we replaced the serial port of this Dreamcast with a traditional HDMI port, but the power supply's DC port irked me.
Let's remedy that and replace it with a standard USB C port.

I love seeing how you modded the dreamcast,
not being into tech I have a question though, I see how GD emu, HDMI port or switching the power transistor to a more efficient and smaller one are undoubtedly better, but I don't totally see the advantage of putting it in USB C.

Did this USB C mod made the dreamcast heat less or something? or is it interesting in order to plug it in a portable external battery?

Your link for the 12v usb-c pd bring up a 15v pd...is that a correct replacement for the 12v?

You couldn’t put a 5v to 12v step up converter in between the Pico and usb-c

You can natively take 12v out of USB C PD though, there are small boards setting the correct DC mode

Just use USB PD. Those trigger boards are super cheap
