It would imply that you already locked your bishop into a corner where it sees less than before, and you yeet it all across the way to the other corner where it sees nothing but the diagonal.
Very rarely is that necessary.

rares move is a1 to b4, it can never happen (jk)

did you account for the fact that some moves are legal but might have never happened? does your code produce correct results in that case?

i was thinking it would be which move (like knight to h2) would be the rarest.
