That humans could invent and play such a beautiful piece gives me eternal hope.

Met a man today, 87 years old, who was forced from his home in Poland to work at the age of 5 years old for the Nazi's in Germany. He was so full of grace and patience and you could tell that he had seen the worst of mankind, yet wore the grace and strength that comes from seeing the worst, so that everything else that happens in an ordinary life is "piece of cake". Theme from Schindler's List was reverberating in my ears the whole time we were talking. What a man!

This tune no matter who plays it always gives my eyes a good washing out 😢, in memory of all the jews and poles who suffered and died 😢😢.

I think this is the best version I’ve heard not only because of how technically perfectly it was played, but the slower speed encapsulates more of the emotion. And I feel like with this song it’s IMPERATIVE.

One thing that will always stay with me from 'Schindler's List' is what Oskar Schindler says despite saving so many from the Holocaust: "I could've got one more person, and I didn't. And I didn't!" An amazing rendition of this beautiful theme. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing.

Just lovely, she makes the violin cry for all of the lost souls.

Who ever is the person that first crafted the violine literally gave the instrument a soul. You can literally hear her the violin Crying as she plays. And the only time I have ever heard a violine weeping more than this was getting a chance to see the people at the Holocaust museum play the instruments that were lucky enough to survive the horrors of those years

Amazing. The best performance I've ever seen. So humble and elegant. The violin cries.

Dear Ellen, you played it with such profound feelings and emotions. You make even the heavenly angels cry. I've never heard it played so beautifully until now. The movie and piece is near and dear to me and now it resonates more deeply within my heart. Thank you ever so kindly. God bless you. 🙏🏻❣️🙏🏻

So different from Itzhak Perlman's original version, yet so profound and sad... one of the best renditions of this piece I have ever heard. Congratulations!

Violin cries in memory of lost innocent Jewish souls murdered senselessly.. that music .. the first sound of the violin bring those overwhelming emotions and tears pouring and it hurts ! Beautifully performed .. heartbreaking history and one of the greatest performances.. Never again ! Never forget ! Peace on earth!

It is my absolute belief that this is the greatest movie ever made - and the score is a huge part of that.

This is 100% perfect - no one could have done a better job 😢💔

Hermoso. Una pena que videos como estos no sean de los más vistos en YouTube, quizás fuéramos mejores seres humanos. Saludos desde cuba 🇨🇺

The harmony with the harp towards the piano at the end is particularly beautiful, different to so many other interpretations. Love it.
