How TO install ASAHI Linux On M1/M2 Mac. RUN Linux On Bare Metal On Apple silicon (NEW). You can run Asahi Linux (Arch Linux ARM64) on a bare metal on an M1 or M2 Mac. Install Asahi Linux On Any Compatible MAC W/ Apple Silicon. This video will walk you through the entire install process.

By the time of making this video, Asahi Linux is in the beta state, don’t expert everything to be working Fine. Some of the issues I have encountered are Malfunctioned.

There is problem in terminal like this:You have a machine with a ProMotion display, with a System Firmware version

I have a question for the Mac users... I've been wanting to get Mac but I generally despise Apples lack of support in self reparability. Such as when Hugh Jeffreys replaces and swaps parts from working Macs and they establish differing "flickers" or the sleep modes not working... Are these problems still consistent in Linux, or are they tied to OS, or firmware or... What not. I'd be very curios to know because, this could mean I'd be able to buy off broken one for cheap, replace the parts and just download Linux on it, which I'd be EXTREMELY interested in doing.

I'm new to this stuff, but I'm not comfortable with the fact, that I have to shrink my macOS. Isn't the macOS disadvantaged through the shrinking and is there a possibility to redo the shrinking without loosing all my stuff on the macOS?

On Intel Macs, it was possible to install Windows natively via Boot Camp, but then access that Windows partition through virtual machine in Mac OS if you didn't want to reboot to Windows-only mode.

I wish that something similar would be possible someday with Asahi Remix on Apple Silicon.
