I knew he wasn't talking to Annie when the camera stayed on his face

I remember thinking, "No way he's talking to Annie. That's too obvious." I forget the context, but I really thought it would be Chang for a second

The music for this scene is amazing. Oscar winner Ludwig Göransson!

I love how this scene is so stupid, ironic, and cheesy but still manages to be so sweet, humbling, and honestly just beautiful all at the same time.

The way that Shirley and Andre look at each other just makes me feel speechless. Like there is some unspoken understanding that nothing will turn out the way they want it to, but it feels good at the moment and they are willing to take the risk. I feel like moments that define people are not the times when they succeed or fail. From what I've seen, success and failure is mostly based on luck. The moments that define us are when we take a risk. Not the moments that the risk leads us to, but the initial surge of courage that comes when you make a decision that you know is wrong but feels right inside.

Everybody thought he was running to Annie when he was actually running away from her. If you think about it he absolutely hates Rich but then decides to run towards him. He does so because he realises that Rich was good enough of a person to do something he never could. Rich turned down Annie. Jeff knows It's the only right thing to do for Annie but he likes her to much to fully turn her down.
But when he hears about that Rich did what he wasn't able to he runs towards him.
He is to selfish to finally let Annie go even tho he knows that it's best for her. But by running to Rich he admits this and searches for help.
He decides to change himself to try everything to let Annie go cause he loves her too much to let her be with him. So this was basically a love confession he admits that he is not strong enough but searches for help basically to make her life better

One of THE greatest jokes from the entire series. Hysterical

Theory: Jeff goes to ask Rich for advice because Rich was able to turn Annie down when she asked him out. Jeff knows deep down that if Annie asked him out he would say yes. However, at least at this point in the series, Jeff still doesn’t feel that it’s ok for him to be with Annie. Therefore he needs advice from Rich about how to deal with his feelings for Annie.

The weird thing is that Rich seems to live in an apartment, however he says he makes the kettle corn in his garage, and that the big wooden spoon he uses was made out of a tree in his backyard

Jeff is clearly running in between the studios in the rain scene: there are no street signs, no sidewalks, no traffic lights, theres even a golf cart parked perpendicular to the "traffic" on the far left hahaha xD

Does this remind anyone else of that scene in HIMYM where Ted runs to Tracy’s apartment and gives that “We’re gonna meet each other in 45 days” speech?
