Lesser known fact, Brandon actually invented metal with the lute shred back in the 1650s, But i guess the world just wasnt ready yet.

The lute is often a very pattern based instrument. Guitar is too. Shredding is just the process of playing pattern based licks really fast. So, of course one can shred on the lute!

I read some time ago that metal fans and baroque fans tend to have similar personality types. And I've certainly seen quite a lot of comments from people who identify chiefly as metal fans saying that they enjoy some baroque videos on YouTube, particularly Vivaldi's music.
