In this video 📝 we are going to talk about Python VS C++ in OpenCV and Computer Vision. Is C++ for OpenCV and Computer Vision outdated or forgotten? We will go over some of the benefits for both of the languages and compare them. I'll also introduce cython which we can use to speed up our python code when deploying python code in real-time applications or where we need to speed from C/C++.

Hey Nico, I followed your video on Object Detection Deployment in C++. I created a custom object detection model with YoloV4. It runs in Python well (with a frame rate drop, compared to the coco pretrained model), however, when I adapted your code in C++ for ReadNetFromDarknet, it just didn't work properly. It doesn't draw bounding boxes, names doesn't appear as well. Any clues? It should be the same procedure, am I right?

Well to just comment. I don't use OpenCV that much. But when it's necessary, most often in a competition, I prefer C as even a single processed frame might make a difference between defeat and success.

Hello. Thanks for the video. I have a suggestion. Speak more slowly.
