'Videotape' by Radiohead (Cover by WARRENMUSIC)

This cover is based on several versions of Radiohead's constantly-evolving song, "Videotape." Contrasting forces of subdued minimalism and soaring intensity, simplicity and syncopation, fragility and strength have shaped and re-shaped this song through the years, as Radiohead have performed or recorded at least six notable, markedly different versions of this song. This cover was my attempt at honoring a small part of all of them. It took months of arranging, planning, recording, mixing, and editing.

Thanks to your syncopation video, Videotape has become my favorite song off In Rainbows. It's not that "peaceful melancholic piano ballad" anymore, it feels like a totally different song now, almost like a "dance" song.

Amazing cover! I'm so impressed by all you people on youtube that just seemed to have figured out Pro Tools, Logic or whatever audio interface you're using. Every time I open up those applications it feels like I'm stumbling through the world's most complex maze. But you're stuff sound like it was recorded in studio on Neumann microphones. Bravo!

Although it's not an "odd" time signature, the peculiar rhythmic qualities of Videotape that you have spoken about make this song hard to play and sing at the same time, in my opinion, so I am quite impressed.
