One of the sexiest Aircraft to have ever served in the United States Air Force and Royal Australian Air Force, the General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark and the EF-111A Raven "Spark Vark" ECM Jammer Counterpart! Hate they retired them, but I love their Replacement too, the Boeing F-15E Strike Eagles originally built by McDonnell Douglas. Awesome video!

They go about 5 times faster than if pushed. Usually don't hear them coming.

USAF Crew Chief 80s. I watched one of these chained down on a run pad banging full AB. Seven cones out the back and at full AB it starting pulling the fire ext cart from the thrust it was generating. They had to chop the motor. We call these planes overpowered.

Very slow for the wing fully swepped. Mabye 250 knots engine's in augmentation . The f111 is big and beautiful. They should of kept a few flying for the airshow circuit.

This brings back memories of the PlayStation game "Agile Warrior F-111X".

I remember one of these did a display at a local airshow when I was a child and it scared me silly

Apparently the guy that posted this video and I have two completely different opinions on what constitutes as high speed.

Must have never been around F-111's. No where near a high speed crash.
