Bread (any good, well-made bread, but focaccia would absolutely be heavenly) dipped in cappuccino or latte is 100% my favorite breakfast! So simple, but so delightful.😋💜

My grandfather was getting fresh bread every morning till he died ! And alot of the times we had fresh toasted Italian bread and dip it in our cappuccino or coffee ! It sounds weird but it actually tastes amazing! Just butter on da bread

here in rimini they do focaccia a bit think, and i do the dipping in the cappuccino too, the contrast sweet salty is delicious

As someone from La Spezia I'm prejudiced but Focaccia Genovese, very thin, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside is the best bread in the world.

Haven’t had this but it sounds great! Conceptually, it kind of reminds me a lot of one of my favorite breakfasts growing up in Hawaii: hot chocolate into which we dipped buttered toast. (This and the focaccia version are both essentially variations on milk toast, a truly ancient dish, so I bet many countries and cultures have their own iteration of the classic hot, sweet, milk-based drink plus savory bread to dip in it ). Anyway, salty buttered toast and hot cocoa was so good that I could easily eat half a loaf of bread in one sitting! Will definitely try this Italian breakfast soon!

I grew up in AZ. My mom would let me dip my toast in her coffee. It was so good. It was good with simple sandwich loaf, I bet it’s even better with Foccaccia.

Oh, I believe you both. While living in France, I started every day with coffee, and fresh baguette. No butter, even. Coffee and fresh bread were made for each other. I can imagine that focaccia is amazeballs in the morning.😋😋😋💋

My Mom was from Bari region.
Focaccia was, olive oil oregano fresh tomatoes, and garlic.We ate it like pizza

Interesting, I'd never have thought of dipping that in coffee. Will try that out one day.
