Those wooden pathways: duckboards (pitkospuut in finnish) can be wery slippery when wet. Also if you use firewood in the national park donations are highly recommended. Donations can be made in the guide/nature center of the park.

In the Nordic countries we call these moose, not elk. Elk is a different animal and belongs to the deer family. They are smaller than the mooses.
