The moving averages crossover works. You just have to adapt these moving averages to the conditions of the market you're trading.

Great lesson, i think you pointed on a strong point; the moving averages are lagging indicators. It is akin to driving your car by using the rear view mirror to direct your forward movement.

This crossover strategy has very good entries, but I normally move my stop-loss lower when I get gains. One should not be too greedy and just take your profits after 50 or 100 pips.
