Israeli soldiers have been filmed setting fire to food supplies and rummaging through private homes in Gaza.

Forces have also been recorded destroying plastic figurines in a toy store and dancing in desecrated neighbourhoods.

A series of viral videos of IDF troops behaving poorly have created a headache for the Israeli military as it faces international outcry over its tactics in Gaza and the rising civilian death toll in its punishing war against Hamas.

The Israeli army has pledged to take disciplinary action in what it says are a handful of isolated cases.

It's not unheard of soldiers being disrespectful, but this case is worse than usual. The glee in the eye of the oppressor while it destroys toys and food in a war and famine is haunting.

Despicable. An utter lack of respect for the lives that are devastated by their behavior. They want to accuse anyone who is critical of them of antisemitism, but the blatant Islamophobia is far worse. They don't even see the Palestinian civilians as human.
