Such a beautiful home, so sad to hear it will be demolished 😢 I love the kitchen with the amazing granite topped island with the top-notch stove top. Love the bathrooms, too, with the cool glass showers. The stone tile floors are beautiful, too. Thank you for this awesome adventure! ❤

I really don’t understand the logic behind demolishing a decent house like this that just needs a little TLC . I’m sure there’s homeless families in Canada who would love this place! Such a shame! Thanks for sharing Owen! Nice Job!

Whomever built that house did a beautiful job!
I agree that that there are so many components that could be removed and reused.

when we lose all single family homes we will be stuck owning nothing and forced into multiple family units. a sense of belonging to a land no longer will exist. if they chose to salvage, it would bring delapidated places up to a higher standard... they cannot have that. sad. thanks for the documentation

Whoever bought the property, wants a different style home, and it’s probably cheaper to demolish the old one rather than renovate.

The bathroom with the glass shower had a bidet not a toilet. Besides that solid doors with stainless handles, french doors, appliances, faucets, mouldings etc. Very expensive to build a home like this now, even then.

This house has a LOT of quite salvage stuff. The mouldings, the wooden doors, the plumbing fixtures and hardware, the stair banister etc windows etc, I hope some one or some company will get to salvage so many things in this house. Why is it set for demolition? It seems like it wouldn't be so terrible to bring it back to being able to be lived in.
