Hearing the beam

Through the competition BL4S we seek to combine our passion for music with our interest for the study of subatomic particles. We try to answer the following questions:
How can we identify a particle in a secondary beam that contains numerous different particles?
Can we hear the secondary beam and identify the type of target it is coming from by a music pattern?
