We were in the equivalent of Costco. My cousin covered the price on a bath mat and asked me what is the most I would pay for it. The actual price was twice what I would pay. She told me, "It's your money, you decide how much an item is worth." It was a valuable lesson. I don't buy things that I think are too highly priced for the quality or function of the item.

Yes! When the lotion bottle, shampoo bottle, or toothpaste tube is "empty", there is still about a weeks' worth of product left in there, from my personal experience. Break out the scissors !!!

Right now I’m trying to use up all the products I have already. Found myself with several bottles of lotions, shower gels, lip glosses, and perfume. The goal for me is to save money, and use what I have already.

I think if you mix patience with buying quality items, you can really save a lot. I was looking at getting an office shredder that was $150. But I kept an eye on Facebook marketplace and was able to find the same one for $10.

I also love thrift shops, particularly thrift outlets for getting great quality items for less.

I recently bought several pairs of pretty but cheap underwear and a similar bra. The wire fell out of the bra in the third wash and the knickers have become 'creepers'. Yesterday I stopped at an outlet mall and bought 3 quality bras and 3 new pairs of underwear. Even discounted they cost me heaps but here's hoping I will still be wearing them all comfortably in several months time....

She is right sometimes buying too much can cost u in long run such as buying too much food n not eating it before it goes bad because u bought too much
Long run u are wasting money by overspending on things

I think another great habit is knowing what you spend on and what's worth it to you.

I always tell myself "waste not, want not" for products and food to use up that last bit. I think just being grateful for what you have (even if you have plenty more) just makes you appreciate things - and saves money.

Thanks for including patience. Not talked about much but I think it is key. Great video.

I used to spend so much money on very cheap razor and products that would break and give me razor burn and painful ingrown hairs. Finally decided recently to just spend a couple more dollars and get quality products that would last longer and give me better results. Been loving the results ever since

Our local Wawa sells burritos. I debated on this. I like their roasted veggie ones but I can't wrap my head around spending $5 for too many of them. Today I made them for dinner. Shampoo is great with a little water added. You get more out of the bottle. I liked this little top. I debated on buying it. I went home and slept on it. I went back the next day to buy it. It was gone. It had been the only one in my size. I saved money someone else spent.

Finally a solution to small remaining product in the tube! I did try cutting it open but then it would dry up before I could use it all. Just putting in a small container, seems so obvious now! Thanks!

Thank you lovely! I manage the money for my household: Fiancé, myself, and 3 furbabies. He DOESN'T know Patience very well so I have to basically take his money the instant he gets it or it's 2-300 shiny thing he saw nearly every week.

I stopped saying "I'm spending my time doing x, y, & z" and started staying "I'm investing my time doing x, y, & z".

I always cut open the tube or bottle cause I need to use all the product that I have purchased
