I personally enjoy the fizziness when drinking a carbonated beverage, but damn that bubbly bloat sucks! If you’re already prone to bloating, it’s probably a smart move to eliminate carbonated beverages from your diet, or at least reduce your overall consumption.
Carbonated beverages actually introduce carbon dioxide gas into your digestive system, creating those bubbly sensations. These fizzy bubbles lead to gas buildup, expanding your stomach and causing the discomfort of bloating.
