DC has released an official crossover comic between Batman and the FaZe Clan Esports team. It's absolutely terrible.

Fun fact, this weird period of food based comic books was actually referenced in the Spider-Verse arc, where one of the Inheritors entered the universe where Spider-Man defeated all his foes with twinkies, and was instantaneously defeated because he had no battle capabilities beyond throwing snack foods and waiting for the police to show up

You know I think what kills me most about this is Batman saying they’ve “discussed this before” because it’s straight up telling us that Robin has tried to get the Faze clan in on crime fighting before and Batman has said no and I just need to know when how there have been at lest 2 situations where Robin thinks bringing them in is a good idea

You know, now I really want a crossover comic with No More Heroes. Because the idea of Travis Touchdown supplexing Batman's Rogue Gallery is way too funny.

I liked the part where Joker said that we live in a society, and then Rugpull said "Gamers rise up!" and Faze'd the bad guys out of existence. Brilliant writing.

Additionally, I imagine if Clayface was in this they would make it so that he disguises as one of the members and another one of the members say "Careful guys! There seems to be an *impostor among us*"

This is why I hate like 99% of "forced product placement" shit in media, this man just came up with a better story than I assume an entire TEAM of DC comic writers did, with practically no knowledge of the Faze clan at all.

I can only assume the writers used this as a cash grab as opposed to wanting to make a decent comic, and it shows.

There’s actually a bit of clever writing in your script for a proper comic. Usually, rage and anger leads to poor play and performance across pretty much all games. The Riddler, letting his emotions getting the best of him, helps bolster a message of keeping your cool in tense situations.
