What an honor to have Jens Rueter, chief medical officer at The Jackson Laboratory, for a fascinating talk on “AI in Precision Oncology - Clinical Decision Making in Genomic Tumor Boards” at #SAIPH2024!
“Clinical decision making is very complex,” Rueter said. “We know we can implement something at the regional level or even state based level with appropriate funding. Right now, we can’t just replace human experts and maybe never will, but we can use AI to support clinicians and develop systems and iteratively improve them.”
