Almeda Fire, Oregon 2020

The Almeda Fire swept through and destroyed swaths of southern Oregon, including Talent and Phoenix (outside of Medford and Ashland) in September, 2020. They came within blocks of where I'm living. Over 2500 people lost their homes, not including those who lived in mobile home parks or nursing facilities. This is a short homage to those who have suffered through this devastating event. Created, directed, and co-edited by Beth Marie Miller (Marie Crawford Miller), under the mentorship of Kyle Michael Porter. Music by Ennio Morricone.
