If your Samsung TV screen stays black and doesn't display any image, you can try the following troubleshooting steps to potentially resolve the issue:
Check the power source: Ensure that your TV is receiving power. Verify that the power cable is securely connected to the TV and the outlet. Consider trying a different power outlet or using a different power cable to rule out any power-related issues.

Check the TV settings: Press the Menu or Home button on your TV remote to see if the on-screen menu appears. If it does, navigate to the picture settings and check the brightness, contrast, and other display settings to ensure they are properly configured. Also, make sure the input source is correctly selected.

Test different inputs and sources: Connect a different device, such as a DVD player or game console, to the TV using a different HDMI cable. Switch to that input source on the TV to see if there is a picture. This will help determine if the issue is specific to a particular input or source.

Reset the TV: Unplug the TV from the power outlet and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This will perform a basic reset and may resolve temporary issues.

Check the backlight: Shine a flashlight on the TV screen and see if you can detect any faint images or menu text. If you can see a faint picture, but the backlight is not working, it could indicate a backlight or power supply problem. In such cases, it's advisable to contact Samsung customer support or a qualified technician for further assistance.

Update firmware: Check if there are any available firmware updates for your Samsung TV model. Visit the Samsung support website and follow the instructions to download and install the latest firmware onto a USB drive. Then, connect the USB drive to the TV and follow the on-screen prompts to update the firmware.

Contact Samsung support: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it is recommended to reach out to Samsung customer support for further assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps or guide you on possible repairs or service options. #samsungtv

Woke up this morning and my TV would not turn on, steady red light black screen. Kept trying the unplug press power button heard the same thing on every channel but it didn't work. Then I tried the hair dryer trick! I kept telling myself this isn't going to work. This isn't going to work, tried it anyway. Eureka! Unbelievable! It worked! Thanks for saving me $ by not having to buy a new TV with Christmas right around the corner! 👍🏻👍🏻

So I have no light when I had my TV plugged in at the power outlet. Tested the socket on the outlet and it had juice. But when my TV was plugged in I didn’t have the red light that’s always on when the TV is off. I had to leave my TV off from the socket overnight. Plugged it in, in the morning and everything was back to working. I watched all the vids. I have a little power button on the TV I was told to hold down for 30 seconds. I was also told to hold down the remote power button for 30-60 seconds but nothing, and I mean nothing worked. I also tried removing everything that was attached to my tv - that didn’t help anything. I even got my other Samsung TV plug in and still nothing. I’m still at a loss for why it didn’t work and why it took it being unplugged for over 7/8 hours for it to work. If you have a black screen with no light. Unplug it. And just give it time. I did watch videos of them popping that back of some of the TU7000 series 65” TV to get to the board. Was contemplating that. But thank god it turned on this morning after leaving it unplugged overnight. It was a shitty situation. I thought I had to go buy a new tv. Good luck to everyone. It’s a frustrating think for sure.

Also could you tell me why it would turn back on with me unplugging it overnight?
