And you know what else this bike is good for? Beginners
I'm serious. I'm a complete beginner, I've taken my exam on a Honda CB650r and test rode a bunch of bikes, like 7 or so. This one was THE best I rode. So fun, so agile, so nimble, SOOO light both at a stop and at speed, you can make it turn by simply thinking about it and leaning, you don't muscle it around like you do with the CB650.
I felt connected with it from the first 200m. It felt natural, and I think that's what's important when you first start off. Brakes are perfect, handling is sublime. I keep it in Urban mode where it has 75hp. Enough for a beginner, and you can change mode after 1 year, turn it into a.. well, a monster.
And all those haters hating on it in other videos: people, I don't understand you. Nor do I have to. I love it.

Nice video chap. Have just come from Nothing To Prove's review of the new MT09 and I have to say this new Monster looks much nicer, especially in that stealthy black. I believe it's a bit lighter than the new Yam so performance wise they should be similar. Keep up the good work.

Good vid mate. I’m really digging this new Monster+. Seems like Ducati is really delivering the goods with these latest models. This new Monster seems like a very accessible yet quite capable & fun bike to ride.
Would look even better with a beautiful bird riding pillion behind… 😉
