She won by color for everybody who didnt understand. Got that game as well. In Quarto each piece got 4 attributes (height, colour, carved(the line around) and size). You give your opponent the next piece he or she has to place. And if at any time either in a straight line or in a 2x2 area you can place 4 pieces with the same attribute you win. But if you dont notice and you give your opponent the next piece and he notices he wins.

Edit: by color. I went to look up the rules. I like that you have play the piece your opponent gives you aspect of it.

I love this game and im happy they enjoy it. The sixth moves could've won the game by no holes. Also with the position he was in at the end, there were no possible pieces to give that wouldn't have let her win. This is one of my favorite two player games

This is one of my favourite games. I've actually made a mini mini version of this game. Using polymer clay to make the pieces. The tall ones were only about 2 cms tall.

I got this game about a week ago, super easy to understand but hard to be good at. You pick your opponents piece to play. There are 4 categories and you need 4 of 1 type shared in a row to win - tall/short, dark/light, solid/hollow and square/circular. It’s a mix of the game set and 4 in a row. Recommend.
