Should note that you may want to have the animation end 1 frame before the end.
This is because the end is essentially the same thing as the start, so you would otherwise end up with one frame looking exactly the same as the next frame.

... It's not a huge deal for something longer like an idle animation, but if you're using fewer frames, it can become more noticable.

EDIT: I notice just now that you have your animation set to start at 1, whereas that first pose is at 0, so no need to stop the animation 1 frame sooner :d

This is so cool! How clear and concise your vids are is SOOOO refreshing, you have no idea! No more scrubbing through a 15 minute video to find 30 secs worth of valuable information. Thanks so much, keep it up!

These tutorials are brilliant! Get you going with something really quickly. Literally made a low poly character, rigged and weight painted and got it animated and learned a shit load in 20 minutes or so

I just started using blender and today I was set to learn animating my first character. You couldnt have uploaded this video at a better time. Feels so good to watch a 2 min video on regular speed instead of 1.5x for 30 min vids.

This is a genius idea. I've never seen a speed tutorial before, but I think I think it's one of the best ideas I've seen in a long time.

There is actually this awesome lecture done by the guys behind OverGrowth (Wolfire Games). They only used 18 key frames to animate all of their characters movment, which could walk, run, roll, jump, fall (while protecting itself), run along walls and push off walls...
