Great video. The Pixel Fold was my favorite phone of 2023, I haven't tested the OnePlus Open yet. But I agree with all your points on the Pixel Fold. There's definitely room for improvement but all in all it was a great first attempt at a foldable

Never watched your videos, but it was refreshing. Not jumping on the big youtubes bandwagon bashing. You reviewed the device for what it can do and didn't make it such a big concern for the small things. I must say though, for $1799 its probably easier to complain, but at the resale market for a good Pixel Fold for $700-$900, its very impressive. If they priced these at $1299-$1399 they would have a sold a LOT more. Now the phones retail is still $1799 and an afterthought for most sadly if paying full price without some kind of discount from a carrier.

They have ALOT to work on for the fold 2 thats for sure. I had waited years for this thing..huge google fan and folding phone fan but passed on it because it was so bad. Hope they really put some effort into the fold 2 this year.

I hear that all the time. but I use my Pixel fold open 80% of the time. it's fine closed, no complaints, and I usually keep it closed for picture taking, but I love it open. Very happy with it. I love it. I hate Verizon and will be leaving them soon, but I love the pixel fold.

Excellent review! Honestly I am going to pick one up from eBay for $800 and I think it was a worthy investment especially when pixel fold 2 drops i'm sure they'll be some hefty incentives to trade in

Being a Pixel fan for a long time, I bought this phone twice and returned it twice. I just couldn't justify the price. It was a nice, premium piece of technology. Add on all the Pixel extras, and it seemed like a really solid everyday phone. I sometimes wished I had kept it, just wish it had a more up to date processor. I wonder what they are doing with the design of the P Fold 2.

The Pixel Fold is beast mode running Android 14 beta QR2 is the calling software and other features makes more than others. Also adding Armorshield screen protector over the original is awesome.
