I have the same problem with my LG fridge. I was gonna replace the mullion, but I'm glad I watched this. My mullion is probably fine and I just need to shim the door.

I have been adjusting the feet height trying to level this door. It only works for a couple weeks and the flapper starts riding under that track again. These should be a more permanent fix. Thank you!
I remember seeing them when the fridge was new but threw them out most likely 😂

Very informative - yes indeed a brand new Samsung needed a shim for the flapper to close properly. Not the best advertisement for Samsung quality control.

Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for. The Lowes delivery driver added two washers to align my doors. It worked, while he was here. The next day the two washers he added had that door too high. I learned from your video how to take them out, and took the two washers he put in out, and my door is level.

What a great video! It was simple, reasonably short and showed me how to fix the flipper mullion in my Samsung French Door refrigerator, which we bought a month ago. The informational material delivered with the refrigerator included four different sized inserts for adjusting the height of the door. The thinnest insert was sufficient. Your video (and the ensuing successful five mnute repair) made my day.

Fantastic, thank you sir! I wondered what those were for when I got the fridge a month ago, and I did point out to my wife that the left door seemed lower than the other. The flipper didn't open when you opened the left if right was already open, and then of course you couldn't close the left door if you shut the right first. I thought it was a "feature" so thanks for putting me out of my misery

Rockstar status! Thank you so much for your detailed video and instructions! We've had the fridge for about 7 months and the problem started about a week ago when we changed out the glass color panel. After watching your video and inspecting our unit, I found that the initial shim that we used was awkwardly smooshed and widened/opened...weird. Anyway, I put in the new one (believe it or not, I actually still had the originals that came with the fridge safely stowed with the purchase paperwork!), and voila!! Perfection. Happy day! Thanks, again!
