These guys have worked hard and spent countless hours on court to reach the D1 level of tennis. And as you probably know, there are a lot of expenses to play the sport of tennis like rackets, strings, stringing, shoes, tournament fees, travel, etc:

Toby goes from a shy “have her home by 7” type of guy to “I’ll have her home whenever I want” type of man the second he starts a match. Love it

Love hearing Luis talk tennis. Man speaks so well and has some great insights.

Luis is a really humble person (0:29). Being read by both is speech and body language both times when mentioned how he won against toby, it's really cool to see people like that who don't have a high head and full of ego. Props to you man.

Honestly the match was wayy closer than the scoreboard suggests. Toby was super resilient and tough but Luis was so focused and stayed on top of things. Great playing from both!

Toby is so entertaining to watch. Obviously, Luis is the more skilled player but I love how Toby swings at the ball.

Really enjoyed that Winston. These two are very solid players, and Toby I think can grow into a VERY good player.

Hey Winston, great content as always. I used to coach Toby for a couple years when he first moved down to Irvine. He's got an amazing work ethic coupled with talent. Luis really analyzed the match well and saw through the lack of confidence on the serves. Most double faults were in the net, so Toby work on creating a bit more shape on that second serve for better net clearance. Once you have 100% confidence on your second, you can really go after your first serve, which will help with transitioning to an aggressive baseline game. Congratulations to both players on a well fought match! Haha, maybe there's gotta be a 4.5 vs. 4.5 match with me and Winston one day. Thanks for posting the videos man!

Great playing from these two. It did look like Toby was maybe a bit nervous coming into the start. That seemed to carry into the rest of the match. There were moments where Toby found some more confidence but overall I think the mental got him more than anything. Regardless you can see these two players are extremely skilled. Thanks Winston.

That was a really cool matchup, both players very high level, love the patience and calm of Luis' game, he made it look easy, which what he did certainly wasn't. Toby with a bit more consistency on his day could have made it super close.

Toby is fire. Can't say enough about this young dude. Scary to think that he's going to get much better later.
I was watching and thinking about Luis' movement, confident/relaxed/mature stroke progressions, overall shot placement and thinking that this dude should definitely try out for some ATP points and next thing you know...Thank you gentlemen for this crazy heavyweight fight. Super impressive.
Winston... fire as usual ma man.
Cheers,
M

Huge praise for Toby, super excited for him to figure that toss out, he'll be super dangerous. Great player with a great attitude. From coaching experience, that sweeping toss motion is really difficult to find a consistent toss with. I'm sure he's aware of this but he's hitting a lot of first serves at 11 o'clock and second serves and 9/10 o'clock. Pretty confident he'll figure it out and looking forward to seeing him develop.

Don't have to say much about Luis, bro has very very good analytical skills and the game to match.

Definitely big boy tennis. Toby's experience and consistency is hard to beat. His first serve and some of his flatter balls were deceptively heavy. Very crafty.

Luis might consider redefining his playing style. In the beginning he was aggressive for the sake of being aggressive as he claimed to be in the intro. With his heavy topspin stroke and high racquet speed he was consistently hitting short and making many errors when overly aggressive or mishitting. Later in the match he played more like a counter-punching game style which seemed to suit him very well. His error count dropped, his balls were going deeper into the court and it opened opportunities for him to close points with short bursts of aggression rather than trying to string together one aggressive shot after another. Overall, great play by both fellows. Top tier stuff!

Winston! Came across your channel not too long ago. Really cool the content and community you've put together surrounding tennis. I'd love to get back in it as you have done someday. Would love to hear more about how you got back into it. I'll be following along.

Great playing guys! I love Toby’s groundstrokes, just need to develop a flat serve and get some easier points.
