As a market garden flower grower I believe that seed saving is an essential practice every year. Not only are you sure they're fresh, so you get great germination, but these seeds are actually adapted to your garden, so you get healthy plants. Not to mention the money you save - I know seed is not that expensive, but for the little time you invest, you're still ahead financially. Great video!

Thank you so much!!! This was my first year growing Zinnias and it was great. I can not believe how many hummingbirds, bumblebees and butterflies they attracted. Your video was quick, informative and easy to follow!

I had the most gorgeous zinnias this year from seed I collected last year. There were new colors I had never even seen before! My guess is that the pollinators did that which were mainly bumblebees and butterflies. My only thing is that I hover around my favorites to collect the seed and they don’t give up till freeze I didn’t realize I could collect off of those who were not completely dry! Thanks for posting

Thank you! This was my first year planting them and they've gone crazy! The butterflies love them! Also wondering- should I cut them back further mid season to prevent them from falling over now? They're so tall and staking them isn't working.
