Is there any ASHRAE standard for spacing chilled water supply and return lines?

It looks like velocity breaker to reduce the impact of water on joint's?

Considering bottom as supply and above as return. Both will need heavy modification. For return take tee and connect straight to riser going down without looping supply pipe but we require some modifications to match above and below riser for return line.for supply line you can install tee and rotate by 90 degree such that by using one more elbow supply line and return line tapoff side by side and not up and down.
