This review helped me a lot, thanks! I was thinking of getting this as a christmas gift for a friend, but there are a lot of features I wish it had that it lacks (picking photos directly from camera roll instead of taking them right in the app, especially).

Idk why but my photos always turn out to be very yellowish...(the film I bought is the 600 one in the blue box)

Thanks a lot for your in-depth review. When I first saw adverts for this, I was really excited. I love my Polaroid and love the photos it takes. And I thought it would be real cool to be able to transfer photos from my phone to the Lab. But I have to admit that I'm pretty let down by what this turned out to be. It's pretty much just taking a picture of your phone, right? Unless I'm totally missing something. The process for the app seems way to involved. I think people now a days expect a quick and seamless experience with moving their photos around. I agree with the comment from ART F9... It's not difficult at all to send data over Bluetooth. These days, even the smallest microcontroller can send and receive both Bluetooth and WiFi with ease. Why Polaroid didn't decide to pioneer into that realm and be innovative is a total head-scratcher. I suppose we'll have to see if they figure it out for the "Polaroid Lab +Plus".

How do you know if the photo within the app is squared up with the lab printer?

Do the photos fade over time like the old Polaroids used to?

Shouldn't you just be able to send the photo via bluetooth or wifi. Taking a photo of the screen is retro in an old people dumb way of doing this.

Headroom, dude. Zoom that camera out or move it farther away. No need for an ECU.
