That is cool.

Today, you can do the following for files:

with open('filename', 'w') as f:
f.write('something to write)

The "with" statement will make the file close automatically when the scope of the file ends. I'm not sure if this was available in 2009 when this was posted. This feature is in python 2.6 (and earlier) and python 3.

Cool stuff. You can press the tab for auto completion in the terminal - just noticed you weren't doing it.

I was actually just running gnome terminal in full screen on linux ubuntu
